Hoping someone can help me with session wire for remote audio monitoring. I am using Cubase13 under win10 - I occasionally like to do a small amount of remote music production editing and so being able to hear audio via the network would be pretty cool. I use RemotePC for controlling the external remote
PC. My symptoms is NO AUDIO across the network. Audio is good locally. First: RemotePC has a part of the program where you can diable audio. I am very
much ENABLED. Plus, to prove (I think) that audio is working across the network, I can launch any youtube video on the remote PC and hear it successfully on the PC I am local to. That is perfect. - so I launch Cubase and place the session wire plugin at the master mix. - I only downloaded the free plugin version. In some of the documentation, it talks about setting up your SOURCE audio. I don't see any place where I can specify that in this plugin, I think I've tried clicking everywhere to sort of CONFIGURE this plugin but not showing anything.. However, my hunch is that by default, even though I can't seem to configure a SOURCE, the plugin seems to be HEARING the master mix. I just don't know if the plugin OUTPUT is getting where it needs to. I have no way of checking that I can think of. When I play a song on cubase, both the master mix and the plugin have audio level meter movement. Not sure what's left to check.
